i'll have to agree with mega jamie, stalls can be a pain. i'd prefer them over nothing but i'd prefer an auction house above all. i also agree that spam would continue with the introduction of stalls/player shops.
the problem i have with /list is, blind inviting people to your groups is a really bad idea. if you're advertising your group and nobodys joining, do not blind invite people. thats the best way to get a horrible group. also i've played games with macros before and its not just abused for trade. griefers love a macro, i've seen macro's abused so many different ways... its just a waste of time. its bad enough you can hit the up button and scroll up to repeat things you've previously said, exploited by bots in the extreme. |

I personally like the idea better of an auction house style trading improvement, but yours would make me much happier than the current setup regardless.

New Trade System? Why ask?--no one is listening
The die hard Guild Wars players (core of Guild Wars) have covered this issue so many time-- that I no longer care about it.
Guild Wars doesn't care about changing the current economic system... we tried to tell them that "buy/sell" is broken.... we tried to tell them about "Auction House"-- no one is listening!!! If you look at the threads in forum, you will see that ponderance of the threads are about economy, i.e.. trading, buying, selling, and auction house. Cute |

I believe anything that would work in the trade channel only, like your drag/drop idea, would get all spammers out of local. I like this idea a lot.
And your /me idea is great also. I'm not sure about the macro thing. Seems like it could be exploited by hackers. |
